We are seeking a highly motivated Architect to support the design and construction phases of a landmark airport development program, with a particular focus on airfield-related facilities such as control towers, utility buildings, shelters, technical buildings, and support infrastructure. This role provides hands-on exposure to aviation design standards, site coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a complex, fast-paced environment.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect - Saudi National to join our team!
We are seeking a highly motivated Architect to support the design and construction phases of a landmark airport development program, with a particular focus on airfield-related facilities such as control towers, utility buildings, shelters, technical buildings, and support infrastructure. This role provides hands-on exposure to aviation design standards, site coordination, and multidisciplinary collaboration within a complex, fast-paced environment.
What You'll Be Doing;
- Assist in reviewing architectural drawings, design packages, and submittals for airfield and support structures.
- Support design consultants and senior architects in ensuring that architectural elements meet functional, aesthetic, and operational requirements.
- Verify that materials, finishes, and architectural features conform to client specifications, aviation standards, and sustainability goals.
- Support field teams in monitoring architectural finishes, installation of building envelopes, and interior works of airfield structures.
- Assist in resolving site-level design discrepancies through coordination with engineers, contractors, and consultants.
- Help track architectural RFIs, NCRs, and design revisions during construction.
- Prepare architectural reports, design summaries, and presentation materials as required by senior architects or project managers.
- Support the documentation process for design reviews, mock-ups, inspections, and material approvals.
- Ensure compliance with airport authority guidelines, fire/life safety regulations, accessibility standards, and applicable codes.
- Develop architectural visuals, 2D/3D details, and schematic layouts for review and coordination purposes.
- Support the preparation of concept presentations, architectural narratives, and graphic documentation.
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil teams to ensure cohesive integration of architectural designs.
- Attend project coordination meetings, site walks, and client presentations as required.
- Support sustainability and LEED-related architectural documentation, where applicable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in architectural design or construction, preferably on airport, transportation, or industrial/infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with airport or industrial facility design principles and codes (e.g., ICAO, NFPA, IBC).
- Proficient in architectural drafting and modeling tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar).
- Understanding of construction materials, architectural detailing, and site coordination.
- Strong communication, graphic presentation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to interpret and prepare design documentation, layouts, and specifications.
- Experience working on aviation or public-sector infrastructure projects.
- Basic understanding of sustainable design principles and LEED/Estidama documentation.
- Exposure to construction monitoring and field architectural supervision.
- Familiarity with BIM coordination and clash detection platforms (e.g., Navisworks).
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
