Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative Landscape Architect to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Landscape Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing sustainable, aesthetically pleasing, and functional outdoor spaces that enhance our clients' properties and communities.
- Develop comprehensive landscape design concepts for a variety of projects, ranging from residential to commercial and public spaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists, to create integrated design solutions
- Produce detailed construction documents, including plans, elevations, and specifications
- Conduct site analyses and feasibility studies to inform design decisions
- Incorporate sustainable design practices and water-efficient landscaping techniques suitable for the arid climate of Saudi Arabia
- Manage projects from concept through completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Present design proposals to clients and stakeholders, effectively communicating design intent and rationale
- Stay updated on local regulations, building codes, and environmental standards related to landscape architecture
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall growth of the landscape architecture department
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture; Master's degree is a plus
- 6-10 years of experience in landscape architecture, with a proven track record of successful project delivery
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator), SketchUp, and Rhino
- Experience with 3D rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape, or Twinmotion
- Strong knowledge of design detailing, construction techniques, and project documentation
- Familiarity with design, tender, and construction processes
- Experience working on large-scale projects in arid climates
- Understanding of sustainable landscape design practices and water conservation techniques
- Knowledge of local flora and climate conditions in Saudi Arabia
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
