WSP is currently seeking a Saudi National Architect Engineer to join our Supervision Department for an exciting project based in Riyadh. This role is part of our commitment to nationalization and supporting the growth of local talent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

WSP is currently seeking a Saudi National Architect Engineer to join our Supervision Department for an exciting project based in Riyadh. This role is part of our commitment to nationalization and supporting the growth of local talent in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure they align with the approved architectural designs and plans.
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
- Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the construction process.
- Address and resolve any design-related issues that may arise during construction in consultation with the design team.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the specified standards and quality expectations.
- Conduct inspections of materials, workmanship, and finished components to verify compliance with architectural and engineering standards.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including daily reports, progress updates, and as-built drawings.
- Generate and submit regular reports to the project manager or client outlining the status of construction activities, potential risks, and recommended actions.
- Proactively identify and address any issues or challenges that may arise during construction, proposing viable solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- Work closely with the design team to resolve design discrepancies or modifications required during construction.
- Lead and supervise on-site project teams, including contractors and subcontractors, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment.
- Provide guidance and support to the construction team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned with project goals.
- Degree educated, fully qualified Architect with 5+ years post graduate working experience in KSA or GCC supervision role, preferably with a recognized global architectural consultancy. (Architect with reputed contracting company can also apply)
- Previous experience of working as an architect. Essentially having detailed knowledge of post contract supervision role and responsibilities related to review of contractor’s shop drawings, submittals and site inspection procedures coordinate with the client & PMC representing the company.
- Review architectural designs shop drawings materials submissions, method statements, materials samples and ensure adherence to the concept & IFC drawings throughout the site construction process.
- Working knowledge of Autocad, Revit, Navisworks, BIM
- Experience of working on commercial / residential high rise / tall tower building projects.
