Architect

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Architect with 1-3 years of experience, specializing in interior design and client coordination. The role offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely, candidate must be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. You will work closely with clients, contractors, and project teams to design and execute functional and aesthetically pleasing interior spaces while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Architectural & Interior Design:

• Develop interior layouts, space planning, and design concepts for commercial, residential, and hospitality projects.
• Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and 3ds Max.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes based on design intent and project budget.
• Ensure compliance with sustainability standards, building codes, and safety regulations.

Client Coordination & Requirement Analysis:

• Meet with clients to gather requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Create and present mood boards, material samples, and 3D visualizations for approval.
• Adapt designs based on client feedback and provide expert recommendations.
• Conduct virtual and in-person meetings for design discussions and project updates.

Project Execution & Coordination:

• Work with contractors, engineers, and suppliers to ensure proper execution of designs.
• Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for materials and furnishings.
• Conduct on-site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and material selection.
• Coordinate with lighting, mechanical, and electrical engineers to integrate technical systems smoothly.

Technical Documentation & Compliance:

• Develop detailed working drawings and specifications for construction.
• Ensure compliance with local building regulations, safety codes, and design standards in Saudi Arabia.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in interior design, materials, and sustainable practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or Interior Design.
• License: Saudi Council of Engineers (Licensed Engineer)
• Experience: 1-3 years in architectural design and interior spaces.
• Location: Must be based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate.
• Work Setup: Hybrid (Ability to work both on-site and remotely, depending on project needs).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar software.
• Experience with BIM (Building Information Modeling) is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of materials, space planning, and ergonomic design principles.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for client interactions.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
