Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients to support AI speech and language technology initiatives through high-quality Arabic audio and linguistic contributions.

In this role, you will contribute to audio-based linguistic tasks such as speech recording, review, and annotation to help improve the accuracy, fluency, and cultural appropriateness of AI speech systems. This is a remote, flexible opportunity suitable for contributors seeking asynchronous, project-based work.

Key Responsibilities

• Record scripted and semi-scripted Arabic audio samples following provided guidelines
• Review and evaluate Arabic speech recordings for pronunciation, clarity, fluency, and consistency
• Annotate or label audio data according to linguistic and quality standards (as applicable)
• Identify and flag audio quality issues, transcription errors, or guideline deviations
• Provide clear, structured feedback where required
• Adhere to confidentiality, data-handling, and quality requirements

Qualifications

• Professional-level fluency in spoken Arabic
• Strong listening comprehension and attention to linguistic detail
• Ability to follow detailed task instructions and quality rubrics
• Access to a quiet recording environment
• Access to appropriate audio equipment (microphone and/or headphones)
• Prior experience in linguistics, speech annotation, transcription, audio review, or voice recording is helpful but not required
• Familiarity with Arabic dialects is a plus, but not required

Work Arrangement

• Fully remote and asynchronous
• Flexible scheduling based on task availability
• Independent contractor engagement

Compensation

• Compensation varies by project scope, task complexity, and quality requirements
• Rates for qualifying tasks may range up to USD $40 per hour
• Payments are issued weekly via supported payout platforms
