Technical Coaching
The Apprentice Coach (Karate) will support the Assistant Coach in developing and progressing elite and emerging elite athletes to achieve medal-winning performances. The role involves delivering daily hands-on coaching, implementing training programs, monitoring athlete progress, and ensuring alignment with best practices to maximize performance potential.
Job Specific Accountabilities
Technical Coaching
- Deliver specialized Karate coaching focusing on technical execution, tactical understanding, and competitive readiness.
- Apply evidence-based coaching methods to enhance athlete performance.
- Assist in identifying and developing emerging talent into elite-level athletes.
- Document training outcomes and lessons learned to refine coaching methods and athlete development programs.
- Apply feedback from athletes and coaching staff to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Support the Head Coach in designing and implementing a world-class training program for elite and emerging athletes.
- Deliver daily coaching sessions to inspire, motivate, and develop athletes with medal-winning potential
