Join Us as an Engineering Coordinator at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-focused Engineering Coordinator to join our team at the First Vignette Collection in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (Carlton Al Moaibed Hotel). This role involves coordinating engineering activities, maintaining records, and supporting the department’s efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update all engineering documents, including work orders, maintenance logs, equipment records, permits, and inspection reports.
• Track and follow up on Preventive Maintenance (PM) schedules for guest rooms, public areas, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate daily maintenance requests and dispatch tasks to engineering team members; ensure timely follow-up and completion.
• Liaise with front office, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure effective communication regarding maintenance issues.
• Prepare and maintain monthly reports on maintenance activities, energy consumption, and equipment performance.
• Assist in the preparation for audits and ensure Green Engage / sustainability documentation is properly filed.
• Organize team meetings, training sessions, and departmental communication for the engineering team.
• Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the engineering function.
  
  

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality or facilities management industry.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize work, and maintain confidentiality.
• Knowledge of basic engineering terms and hotel systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) is an advantage.
• Team player with a proactive attitude and strong problem-solving skills.
