During Your Tenure As a Senior Manager In Finance Transformation, You Will Demonstrate And Develop Your Capabilities In The Following Areas

  • Defines how the engagement should impact broader business objectives and creates a team environment that builds accountability for and commitment to meeting engagement objectives
  • Lead projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience.
  • Builds deep sector expertise and manages engagements across accounts within chosen industry/sector.

  • Takes control of challenging situations and diffuses escalated situations calmly by controlling own emotions and recognizing emotions in others.
  • Participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process; assembles a pursuit team with the necessary skillset and knowledge needed to prepare sales materials.
  • Adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence and assembling teams to best serve clients.
  • Articulate an informed opinion on leading edge technologies and how they affect emerging business models in domain area.
  • Counsel CFOs and finance executives to support enterprise-wide decision-making, improve finance operations, and strengthen stakeholder management.
  • Partners with the client by helping them create energy for and align their organization to requisite changes to create value.

You will already have a network of business contacts in the region and be able to advise CFOs on leading practice approaches in key areas of the finance function. You will do this by combining your personal experience and expertise with existing Deloitte propositions in finance strategy, operating model design, performance management, cost management, finance process optimisation, finance technology, treasury management, statutory and regulatory compliance and profitability analysis.

As Senior Manager you will be responsible for the independent delivery of engagements or major modules of large projects. This includes leading the approach, liaising with clients and other parties and directing the activities of individuals within the team. A crucial part of your role will include involvement in business development and marketing activities to initiate and maintain contact with target companies as we extend our business footprint. A strong candidate will already have a portfolio of contacts across the region.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience.
  • A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time.
  • Business development experience and high comfort level meeting with and presenting to CxO and VP levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process improvement.
  • Qualified accountant or similar experience.
  • Essential financial services experiences including banking and insurance.
  • Experience managing large, complex projects with 12+ resources within a consulting environment, with a vendor or within an enterprise IT team.
  • An advanced degree in the area of specialization.
