Summary - Basic Function Of The Role

We are actively seeking an Accounting Manager to join our team located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will provide key financial and business support to the Business. Ensure the business activities conducted in line with proper internal control.

Job Duties And Responsibilities

  • Provide financial leadership to the local and wider Menac finance team and integrate/collaborate with the global team as needed.
  • Assisting in the financial (incl. monthly close) process in accordance with US GAAP requirements
  • Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations.
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors to ensure compliance with local entity tax laws.
  • Preparation of documentation for the statutory audits for auditors.
  • Compilation of annual US GAAP tax/audit packs for all designated entities.
  • Accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial results.
  • Coordinate and prepare forecasts and budgets.
  • Internal control implementation, evaluation, and documentation.
  • Assisting with SOX and RA review.
  • Lead and implement process improvements.
  • Assist functional leaders with financial analysis.
  • Business participant at all levels of the business and with all disciplines.
  • Assist sales and commercial team with margin analysis and pricing analysis as required.
  • Support in the preparation of weekly and monthly reports.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor ‘s degree in Accounting & Finance with good command in US GAAP
  • Extensive comprehensive accounting & finance working experience alongside experience of management.
  • Detailed knowledge of statutory and compliance requirements including accounting, tax, foreign currency, etc.
  • Strong skills in account analysis, problem solving, attention to detail, and writing of commentary and analytical summaries.
  • Internal control framework, SOX acumen. Analytical. Team player. Used to working with deadlines.
  • Oracle/HFM knowledge (preferable).
  • Knowledge of US GAAP accounting regulations (preferable) and Saudi laws.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with proficient English language skills.
