Accountant - Riyadh

(Odoo Accounting Experience Required)

We are looking for a qualified Accountant with 2–5 years of experience, preferably in the distribution sector, and strong hands-on experience with Odoo Accounting software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting VAT compliance, and providing valuable insights to the finance team. Key Responsibilities:

·      Manage daily accounting operations, including AR/AP, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.

·      Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

·      Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

·      Monitor cash flow, collections, and supplier payments to optimize working capital.

·      Manage VAT filings and ensure full compliance with Saudi Arabia’s VAT laws.

·      Work closely with distribution and logistics teams to ensure correct accounting for inventory movements and sales transactions.

·      Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.

·      Continuously improve accounting processes and leverage Odoo functionalities for better efficiency.

What You’ll Need:

·      Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

·      2–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a distribution or trading company.

·      Proven expertise with Odoo Accounting software is mandatory.

·      Strong understanding of Saudi VAT regulations and tax compliance.

·      Professional certifications such as SOCPA, CPA, or CMA are a plus.

·      Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

·      Strong communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
