We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of proven accounting experience and a solid understanding of financial principles and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring compliance with local laws, and contributing to the overall financial health of the company.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable (A/P), accounts receivable (A/R), general ledger (GL), and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) as endorsed by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountants (SOCPA).
  • Conduct month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial reports for management review.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of Value Added Tax (VAT) and Zakat returns to the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA).
  • Maintain all accounting records and books in Arabic, as per the regulations of the Ministry of Commerce.
  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
  • Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new financial policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and compliance.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience as an accountant in Saudi Arabia.
  • Strong understanding of Saudi accounting principles and legal requirements, including Zakat and VAT regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or local solutions) and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of IFRS and SOCPA standards.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in both Arabic and English is highly preferred, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
