Account Manager

Food People has partnered with a FMCG Ingredients business looking for an Account Manager to be based in Jeddah, KSA. This person will be responsible for managing the existing clients as well as add more clients to expand business

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement a sales strategy to drive growth and improve profit margins while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Target Setting & Forecasting: Set and achieve sales targets by forecasting and planning annual sales goals across various regions and territories
• Supplier Relationship Management: Collaborate with suppliers to align on product-based sales initiatives and performance targets, while upholding shared values and expectations
• Customer Growth & Acquisition: Enhance the value of existing customer relationships and attract new clients by adapting to evolving market trends and customer expectations
• Market & Pricing Strategy: Monitor supply and demand dynamics, market trends, economic indicators, and competitive activity to maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and pricing strategies
• Solution Selling: Promote products and services by understanding and addressing customer financial conditions, needs, and strategic goals
• Profitability Management: Achieve individual financial objectives and ensure a healthy gross-margin-based profit flow
• Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on sales performance, profit margins, and compliance with established procedures and regulatory guidelines

Key Ingredients:

• Bachelor's in Food Chemistry is highly desirable
• More than 6 years of experience in sales and business development within the ingredients industry
• Must have more than 4 years of Saudi market experience
• Strong communication skills combined with an analytical mindset
• Hold a valid KSA driving license
