Position Purpose

The Accommodation Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of staff accommodation facilities. This role plays a key part in providing a safe, comfortable, and welcoming living environment for employees by following housekeeping standards, hygiene procedures, and Leylaty Group policies. The position supports daily accommodation operations, including room preparation for move-in and move-out, inspections, and reporting of maintenance issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning and housekeeping duties in staff accommodation areas, including rooms, corridors, kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas.
  • Ensure high standards of hygiene and sanitation in line with company policies and health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular room and area inspections and promptly report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns to the Accommodation Supervisor.
  • Prepare rooms for new arrivals by changing linens, setting up amenities, and completing condition checks.
  • Support check-in and check-out processes by ensuring rooms are cleaned, inspected, and ready on time.
  • Properly use, maintain, and store cleaning tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels to the Supervisor.
  • Follow assigned housekeeping schedules and daily task plans.
  • Comply with Leylaty Group accommodation policies, safety rules, and security procedures.
  • Provide courteous, professional, and respectful service to all residents while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Attend and participate in training sessions related to safety, hygiene, and service standards.
  • Assist during emergencies such as fire drills, evacuations, or urgent maintenance situations.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Accommodation Coordinator or Manager to ensure smooth operations.


Job Nature

  • Work Environment: Primarily indoors (90%), with limited outdoor duties (10%)
  • Working Days: 6 days per week


Authority & Accountability

  • Executes assigned duties as per role requirements
  • No financial or budget control
  • No hiring, supervisory, or promotion authority
