Technical Security Support Supervisor

Scope:

The job of Technical Security Supervisor is Oversee ID & Sticker Unit, Security Specialist, Technical Specialist and Control Center operations and lead inspection tours to ensure security regulations are enforced.

Description:

1. Provide direction and lead direct reports in performing their roles and responsibilities.
2. Conduct performance appraisal reviews for direct reports, identify and ensure they acquire the required managerial or functional competencies and knowledge.
3. Ensure the performance of various assigned responsibilities and the conduct of the staff is in accordance with SATORP’s policies and procedures
4. Optimize the use of available resources in carrying out the assigned responsibilities and ensure timely completion according to set standards.
5. Ensure that all security equipment, such as cameras, closed circuit television (CCTV), card readers, and other attachments are in good operating conditions.
6. Assisting to Monitor access to SATORP Refinery, ensure that all visitors are authorized, and approve entry access permits for the Refinery’s visitors.
7. Support to conduct spot checks and scheduled training drills to ensure the ability of shift personnel to respond to real incidents and emergencies
8. Review all periodic performance reports to ensure the effective implementation for SATORP’s strategies and operational priorities and identify improvement opportunities and propose / implement improvement actions
9. Conduct security audits to identify potential problems and hazards related to physical security, staff safety and asset protection
10. Inspect security design features, installations, or programs to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
11. Contribute to the development of security plans, policies, programs, technical services and operating instructions.
12. Ensure that security policies, programs, or practices are implemented and adhered to by concerned personnel.
13. Ensure adequate and timely maintenance of security systems
14. Review specifications for design or construction of security systems, and ensure that plans and programs are carried out effectively and in accordance with the Company’s security guidelines
15. Develop and administer the Security training programs to include the general security procedures and concepts of sophisticated security equipment.
16. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Industrial Security Technical support manager

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Computer, Electronics Engineering, equivalent or related fields

Minimum Experience:

7+ years of experience in required technical field.

1 year in an acting supervisory role
