Technical Sales Manager I - Saudi National

JOB PURPOSE: Identify, develop, and maintain market development opportunities for the upstream oil and gas activity (mainly downhole activity) with relevant stakeholders, including end users, contractors, as well as industry bodies and associations. Contact, liaise, and follow-up with the oil and gas upstream operators to understand their technical requirements to qualify our solutions. Liaise with the sales manager in charge of the commercial plan. Liaise with R&D teams to develop new solutions. Maintain a good working relationship with the clients whilst representing the image of the company.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Market Research and New Trends:Conduct a market analysis on the upstream oil and gas sector to identify growth markets, applications, technologies, and regulations, to assess the potential impact or opportunities within these areas, and to develop well-informed strategies and actionable plans to capitalize on these business prospects. The role will encompass tasks related, market expansion, lead generation initiatives and risk assessment.
Technical and Commercial activities:Develop and maintain close relationships with both new and existing stakeholders, especially with the drilling division of the oil and gas upstream operators, to understand their technical requirements to effectively leverage the market potential through the development of end user non-metallic specifications.
Communication and Presentation:Effectively communicate the FPI value proposition of innovation, cutting-edge technology and service in a manner that enables the client to clearly recognize our point of difference within the composite pipe industry, with a special focus on the downhole applications.
Product technical knowledge:Champion training and client engagement initiatives, encompassing presentations and workshops, while delivering technical guidance so to enhance client confidence and drive material conversion opportunities.
Development of new solutions:Liaise with the Technology Division to develop the new solutions required to meet market trends and specific customer requirements.
Technical knowledge of industry:Thoroughly comprehend competing technologies and develop compelling arguments and create comprehensive comparative material studies and documentation that effectively drive material conversions.

• Ensure that all technical offers related to business opportunities comply with customer technical requirements, considering all aspects of the oil and gas well environment.
• Expert Guidance:Provide expert guidance on well design, resolving complex pipe selection and operational failure issues, and create models that demonstrate a strong value proposition.
• Manage Large Customer:Manage a large customer portfolio with a clear focus on setting and addressing priorities.
• Independent Management:Ability to independently manage large, complex customers (such as ADNOC, ARAMCO, and international IOCs) with stringent technical requirements, as well as smaller operators.
• Respect Health & Safety, Environmental policies:Understand, implement and follow all the company commercial and social responsibility polices and ensure the interests of the company are maintained at all times

Required Qualifications:

• Technical engineering or higher-level technical degree

Preferred Experience:

• 5 years in a similar job preferably in the oil and gas drilling sector with experience in well design
