Technical Analyst, SAP - ABAP/Integration

Job description:

Design, develop, implement, and support SAP ABAP developments and enterprise integrations between SAP and non-SAP applications. Responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-quality technical solutions that enhance business processes while ensuring compliance with SAP development standards and integration best practices. Work closely with functional consultants, infrastructure, cybersecurity, external vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure high-performing SAP solutions across manufacturing, finance, supply chain, sales, and shared services.

Key Accountabilities

SAP ABAP Development & Customisation

• Design, develop, and maintain custom ABAP reports, programs, enhancements, workflows, BAPIs, BADIs, and user exits.

• Create and maintain SAP SmartForms and Adobe Forms.

SAP SuccessFactors

• Lead integrations between SuccessFactors and SAP ECC / S/4HANA using SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, and direct APIs.

• Develop and maintain connectors for payroll, recruitment, employee data, and performance management.

• Ensure data consistency and integrity across systems.

Integration Management

• Design and implement integrations between SuccessFactors, SAP ERP, and third-party systems (e.g. payroll, time management, job boards).

• Manage data mapping, transformation, validation rules, and integration specifications.

• Ensure integration architecture meets scalability, reliability, and performance best practices.

Interface Development & Monitoring

• Develop and maintain interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, OData, and SOAP/REST services.

• Monitor interfaces and troubleshoot integration issues.

System Enhancements & Optimisation

• Review and optimise custom developments and integrations.

• Perform ABAP performance tuning to reduce latency, errors, and downtime.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with SAP functional consultants (HR, Finance, etc.) to support end-to-end solutions.

• Define and document business and integration requirements.

End-User Training & Documentation

• Develop and deliver user training.

• Maintain technical, functional documentation, and user guides.

Troubleshooting & Support

• Provide technical support for ABAP and integrations.

• Investigate root causes and act as the primary contact for integration issues.

Project Support & Development

• Lead ABAP and SuccessFactors integration projects.

• Support upgrades, compatibility testing, change requests, and version control.

Policies, Systems & Procedures

• Contribute to IT policies, systems, processes, and procedures to ensure operational consistency.

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years of SAP ABAP development experience, supporting SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments, with experience in SAP integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems
