System Engineer

Job Summary

A System Engineer specializing in the design, administration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, servers, and operating systems. Responsible for ensuring system availability, performance optimization, security, and reliability. The role includes managing enterprise environments, monitoring system performance, performing regular maintenance and updates, and troubleshooting technical issues to ensure stable and efficient business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, operate, and maintain servers and operating systems.

• Monitor system and infrastructure performance and resolve technical issues.

• Implement backup policies and disaster recovery plans.

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and system security.

• Install, configure, and update systems, applications, and related services.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

• Collaborate with network, cybersecurity, and application teams to ensure system integration and availability.

• Apply best practices for information security and business continuity.

• Provide advanced technical support and perform root-cause analysis for system issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Networks Engineering, Information Systems, or an equivalent related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in system administration and infrastructure management.

• Certifications related to server and operating systems administration are preferred.

• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
