The Position

The Supply Chain Lead for Roche Diagnostics Saudi Arabia, is a strategic business partner and a pivotal member of the Saudi Arabia Leadership Team (SALT) and the Middle East Supply Chain Leadership Team. You will shape the end-to-end supply chain model to drive commercial value, customer loyalty, and organizational resilience. This role extends beyond traditional operational boundaries: you will drive the strategic agenda for both SALT and your LT, navigating complex landscapes to align regional stakeholders behind a unified vision.

Your Responsibilities
  • Actively contribute to and influence decision-making forums. Build coalitions and consensus to drive initiatives in a matrixed environment
  • Navigate complex stakeholder dynamics with diplomacy, effectively balancing conflicting interests and translating organizational risks and constraints into strategic influence
  • Create confidence through proactive, transparent communication on strategic initiatives before they are requested by stakeholders
  • Plan and implement the in-country supply chain strategy aligned with regional and global goals
  • Collaborate effectively with chapters, networks, and other internal teams
  • Establish and monitor key supply chain KPIs
  • Liaise with the integrated planning team to optimize inventory levels for spare parts, instruments, and reagents
  • Manage 3PL supply chain activities to ensure timely completion
  • Collaborate on automation/digitalization projects with the digital solutions and consultancy team
  • Lead the order management and warehousing teams to ensure efficient operations and on-time deliveries
  • Analyze customer feedback and develop action plans for improvement
  • Shape supply chain models to enable commercial growth and optimize inventory levels, translating data-driven insights into strategic recommendations for commercial teams
  • Coordinate inbound, outbound, and returns processes with 3PL partners
  • Develop and monitor 3PL performance to meet Roche quality standards
  • Collaborate with 3PLs to resolve operational issues and implement improvements
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Roche's ethical standards
  • Participate in warehouse quality audits, and certification audits
  • Identify and address customer needs with clear and concise information
  • Resolve customer issues efficiently, exceeding expectations
  • Build and maintain positive customer relationships through active listening and empathy
  • Gather customer feedback to improve products, services, and internal processes
  • Create a motivating environment to attract, engage, and retain top talent
  • Hire, develop, and manage employees and third-party partners responsible for local operations
  • Delegate tasks effectively, foster team decision-making, and promote open communication
  • Provide regular feedback, coaching, and individual development plans for all employees


Who You Are
  • You hold a BSc/MSc degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related
  • You built a minimum of 10 years of Supply Chain experience, of which 5 to 8 years in a leadership position, with a proven track record of ensuring Supply Chain governance and a strong network within the internal and external Supply Chain communities
  • You combine deep technical knowledge (warehousing, 3PL management, Supply Chain Quality Standards, and Saudi regulations) with an entrepreneurial mindset to translate complex data into high-impact, commercial recommendations
  • You built people management experience including performance management, employee development, motivation, change management, and coaching
  • You foster an agile, feedback-rich environment, demonstrating executive presence, resilience, and a proven ability to hire, coach, and develop top-tier talent
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills, advanced written and oral communication skills, and are able to influence others across all levels of the organization in order to drive transformational change
  • You act as a visionary and coach, influencing senior stakeholders without authority and actively driving the strategic agendas for SALT and the ME Supply Chain LT
  • You are fluent in English. Mastering Arabic language is preferred
