Job Purpose:
To deliver a customer-focused store layout solution for the selected range to optimize space utilization and deliver the company sales targets.

Job Purpose:
To deliver a customer-focused store layout solution for the selected range to optimize space utilization and deliver the company sales targets.
Functional Accountabilities:
- Create and adapt store space and layout based on agreed, generic design principles
- Select the most appropriate display equipment from a predefined list of available options
- Follow flows and adjacencies principles across stores in consultation with cross-functional colleagues to deliver optimal customer shopping experience.
- Follow the space/store approval process and hold regular natural work teams to obtain cross functional signs off in the most efficient way possible.
- Maintain appropriate balance between primary and secondary store space allocation in line with generic design by store types
- Communicated with the different departments involved in the process to ensure alignment and ensure all projects are completed within the timeline
- Communicated and Make regular site visits to check on progress and capture structural elements for existing stores
- Conducted periodic reviews of proposed store layouts to ensure compliance with generic layouts across all market and store types
- Keep abreast of evolving shopper needs and adapt and constantly improve layouts to meet the changing needs of our shoppers
- Verify the specification of store fixtures and equipment when ordering new equipment for stores
- To contribute to the company space management strategy and reviews
- Created final design intent drawings (AutoCAD / Revit) for submission to vendors for cost estimating & elevations/renderings as required for review and approvals
- Adhere to legal and industry standards in design and building codes, following and setting industry trends and architectural advancements.
- Ensure that all stakeholders in the merchandising process are kept updated on the processes and any changes
- Ensure that stakeholder feedback is sought, reviewed, and where applicable used.
- Carry out regular store visits across all formats to review implementations
Education:
- Bachelor preferably in Sciences & Architecture
1-2 years of relevant work experience in a grocery retail setting
- or Fresh graduate
- English and preferably Arabic
- Intermediate Computer skills
