Role Summary:
The Specialist, Supplier Relationship Management is responsible for managing the end-to-end supplier lifecycle, including supplier registration, onboarding, qualification, requalification, supplier profile management, supplier master data governance, AVL administration, supplier performance monitoring, supplier risk assessment, audit/NCR follow-up, and supplier quality compliance coordination. The role acts as the focal point for SAP Ariba supplier lifecycle activities and ensures that supplier records, evaluations, quality evidence, corrective actions, and compliance documents are complete, accurate, and aligned with company procurement policies, ISO/API requirements, and digital procurement transformation initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Adhere to legal, safety, HSE, procurement, quality, and company policy requirements in all supplier management activities.
- Manage supplier registration, onboarding, qualification, and requalification through SAP Ariba.
- Monitor SAP Ariba supplier workflows and ensure timely completion of supplier lifecycle activities.
- Maintain supplier profile data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP Ariba and SAP ECC.
- Review supplier-submitted documents, certificates, declarations, and compliance evidence before approval.
- Coordinate supplier qualification with Procurement, QA, Engineering, Finance, Legal, IT, and end users.
- Maintain and update the Approved Vendor List based on approved evaluation results and required approvals.
- Receive and review supplier initial evaluation packages to ensure completeness and compliance with procedure.
- Manage periodic supplier re-evaluation and follow up with suppliers and stakeholders until closure.
- Monitor supplier performance covering quality, delivery, responsiveness, competitiveness, and compliance.
- Prepare supplier scorecards and performance evaluation reports for Procurement Management.
- Maintain supplier audit records, audit reports, evidence files, and quality-related documentation.
- Monitor supplier NCRs, follow up for closure, and ensure supplier records are updated accordingly.
- Coordinate supplier corrective action plans and verify closure evidence with concerned stakeholders.
- Support supplier risk and criticality assessments from procurement, quality, and compliance perspectives.
- Ensure supplier files are complete, controlled, and aligned with ISO/API, procurement, and company requirements.
- Support supplier data cleansing, migration, deduplication, and supplier master data governance initiatives.
- Act as first-level support for supplier-related SAP Ariba issues and coordinate escalation with IT/system support.
- Prepare and maintain supplier management procedures, work instructions, checklists, and training materials.
- Generate SAP Ariba reports, supplier dashboards, registration status reports, NCR aging summaries, and KPI reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in supplier lifecycle management, supplier compliance, SAP Ariba process efficiency, and audit readiness.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, engineering, data science, commerce, or any related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Supplier Management, Vendor Qualification, Procurement Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related procurement systems administration.
