Job Description:

At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a commercially driven and technically strong OEM Sourcing Specialist to support strategic procurement and vendor management across our facilities management operations in Saudi Arabia. This role is critical in driving cost optimization, quality assurance, and supplier performance across engineering and technical categories.

Role Overview

The OEM Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and technical suppliers for FM operations. This role requires a strong blend of engineering knowledge and procurement expertise to ensure the right vendor partnerships, optimized costs, and reliable supply chains aligned with operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard OEM vendors and technical suppliers across FM service lines
  • Manage end-to-end sourcing processes including RFQs, negotiations, and contract finalization
  • Ensure procurement aligns with technical specifications, operational requirements, and client SLAs
  • Develop strategic sourcing plans for engineering equipment, spare parts, and technical services
  • Drive cost optimization, value engineering, and supplier consolidation initiatives
  • Monitor supplier performance, service quality, and delivery timelines
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, and finance teams for procurement planning and demand forecasting
  • Maintain vendor databases, contract records, and procurement documentation
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, audit requirements, and governance frameworks

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, preferably within FM, MEP, or engineering industries
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, or FM-related equipment
  • Proven experience dealing with OEMs, technical vendors, and supplier negotiations
  • Strong commercial acumen, cost analysis, and contract management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • GCC experience in FM procurement is highly preferred

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred) or Supply Chain Management
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain (CIPS or equivalent) are an advantage
