An exciting opportunity is available for Instrument Specialist located in Jubail.
Job Purpose
The Instrument Specialist is responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and complex problem-solving support to the Instrumentation Maintenance team. As well as ensuring effective, safe, and cost-efficient maintenance of instrumentation systems in a petrochemical environment.

Job Purpose
The Instrument Specialist is responsible for providing advanced troubleshooting and complex problem-solving support to the Instrumentation Maintenance team. As well as ensuring effective, safe, and cost-efficient maintenance of instrumentation systems in a petrochemical environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Plan and support preventive, routine, and turnaround maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex instrumentation and PLC issues.
- Conduct field testing, inspections, and investigations of equipment failures.
- Provide technical guidance to field staff, contractors, and supervisors.
- Support maintenance planning, documentation, and system reviews.
- Coordinate with operations, engineering, and reliability teams.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
- Assist with spare parts standardization, MOC processes, and training of personnel.
- Diploma in Instrumentation & Control or equivalent.
- Minimum 10 years’ in maintenance, preferably within a petrochemical plant environment.
- Fully conversant with Instrumentation and control drawings and schematic diagrams
- Fully conversant with P&ID interpretation
- Knowledge of SAP software module in Maintenance Planning
- Knowledge of MDG and spare parts of Instruments
- Conversant with applicable Instrumentation and Control standards
- Sound knowledge of international codes and standards pertaining to Instrument equipment
- Fault-finding in loops
- Familiar with PLC’s and Logic
