Overseeing tax-related activities within an organization, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities.

Tax Compliance and Reporting:

• Prepare, review, and submit federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of tax filings, including income tax, sales tax, property tax, and other relevant taxes.
• Maintain comprehensive tax records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Tax Research and Analysis:

• Stay informed on updates to tax laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Conduct research and analysis to evaluate the implications of new tax legislation and emerging trends.
• Interpret tax regulations and provide actionable recommendations based on current laws.

Tax Planning and Strategy:

• Support the development of tax-efficient strategies aimed at minimizing tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations.
• Assist in preparing tax projections and forecasts to inform management decisions and strategic planning.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to optimize tax functions and enhance overall compliance.

Audit Support:

• Assist in managing tax audits by preparing necessary documentation and coordinating with tax authorities as required.

HR Proficiency:

• Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

Delivery:

• Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
• Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
• Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:

• Solve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:

• Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business Process Improvements:

• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety, and Environment:

• Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
