Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Job Requirements
Skills and Abilities: - Strong sales leadership and customer handling skills. - Good knowledge of optical products and prescriptions. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability. - Ability to coach and guide junior staff. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience: 3–5 years in retail sales (optical preferred).
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferably related field.
Language: Excellent command of oral and written English and Arabic.
Licenses / Certifications: Not mandatory (optical knowledge preferred).
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Drive high-value sales, upselling, Cross-selling and promotions execution.
- Support store in achieving targets and improving conversion & ATV.
- Act as role model in sales behavior and customer handling.
- Handle complex customer cases, objections, and complaints.
- Ensure delivery of a premium and consistent customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with VIP and returning customers.
- Understand prescriptions, lenses, and product matching.
- Guide customers confidently before and during technical handling.
- Support opticians in explaining technical solutions in a sales-friendly way.
- Ensure accurate handling of POS transactions and insurance sales.
- Support team in resolving insurance-related issues.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Support checking orders for basic accuracy and customer expectations.
- Ensure smooth coordination with optician/technician before delivery.
- Reduce customer complaints related to miscommunication or wrong selection.
- Support onboarding and training of sales associates.
- Guide team on selling techniques and customer handling.
- Monitor floor performance and support improvement.
- Monitor product availability and highlight fast/slow-moving items.
- Ensure proper display and product presentation.
- Support stock control and reporting of issues.
- Support Store Manager in daily operations and floor supervision.
- Act as shift leader when required.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.
