Senior Product Manager

About The Role

We're looking for a structured, data-driven Senior Product Manager to shape and deliver digital financial products for a growing fintech startup. You'll own product direction and priorities, working closely with business, engineering, design and compliance to turn customer needs into practical, measurable product improvements.

The role covers the full product lifecycle, from discovery and strategy through launch and growth, with a focus on payments, digital wallets and BNPL.

What you'll do

• Define and own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for your assigned product area, aligning customer needs with business objectives.
• Lead customer discovery through user interviews, product insights, and market and competitor research, translating findings into clear problem statements and business cases.
• Own and prioritise the product backlog, balancing customer value, business impact, regulatory requirements, technical dependencies and delivery effort.
• Develop product requirements documents, user stories and acceptance criteria that give engineering and design clear direction.
• Define MVP scope and success measures, coordinating go-to-market planning, release readiness and post-launch improvements with relevant teams.
• Partner with engineering and design on backlog refinement, sprint planning and delivery, resolving scope questions and managing product trade-offs.
• Work with risk and compliance teams to incorporate applicable SAMA regulations, KYC and AML requirements into product design and delivery.
• Define business and product requirements for API integrations with banks, payment providers and third parties, partnering with technical teams on implementation.
• Establish product KPIs and contribute to OKRs, using funnel analysis, conversion, retention and other relevant metrics to evaluate performance.
• Use customer feedback, product analytics and experiments, including A/B testing where appropriate, to guide prioritisation and continuous improvement.
• Communicate product priorities, progress, dependencies, risks and results clearly to senior stakeholders.
  
  
  

What you bring

• 6+ years of product management experience, including 3 years in fintech.
• A proven track record of taking digital products from discovery through launch and growth, with measurable outcomes.
• Hands-on product experience in one or more relevant areas: digital payments, wallets, banking, lending, BNPL or open banking.
• Experience defining product strategy, building roadmaps and making prioritisation decisions using frameworks such as RICE or MoSCoW.
• Working knowledge of the Saudi fintech landscape, including relevant SAMA requirements and local payment systems.
• Strong technical understanding of APIs, financial integrations and system dependencies, with the ability to discuss requirements and trade-offs with engineering teams.
• Strong product analytics skills, including experience with tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude or Google Analytics.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence, and familiarity with Figma for reviewing designs and collaborating with designers.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to communicate complex requirements clearly.
• Strong written and spoken English and Arabic.

• Experience launching and scaling fintech products in Saudi Arabia or other GCC markets.
• SQL and/or Power BI skills for independent analysis and reporting.
• Experience with core banking integrations.
• Exposure to PCI DSS requirements or information security considerations in financial products.
• CSPO or PSPO certification, or an MBA.
