Senior Organizational Development Specialist

About Us

Fathom.io is building the Enterprise Intelligence OS for the Agentic Era. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Senior Organizational Development Specialist to strengthen our organizational structure, leadership capability, operating practices, and people systems.

This role will work closely with company leadership, department heads, managers, and the People and Culture team to ensure that Fathom’s organization remains clear, accountable, agile, and capable of executing its strategy.

Please note: This is an on-site role based in our office in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Candidates should be willing to relocate or already be based in the region.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement organizational-development initiatives aligned with Fathom’s strategy, growth plans, and operating model.
• Support organizational design, including department structures, reporting lines, role clarity, spans of control, and decision ownership.
• Develop and maintain job architecture, role profiles, competency frameworks, career levels, and progression criteria.
• Partner with leaders to identify organizational capability gaps and recommend practical development interventions.
• Support workforce planning, succession planning, talent reviews, and leadership-pipeline development.
• Design and improve performance-management practices, including goal setting, feedback, performance reviews, calibration, and development planning.
• Develop leadership and management-development programs for team leads, managers, and emerging leaders.
• Facilitate workshops related to organizational effectiveness, team alignment, values, accountability, decision-making, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Support organizational change initiatives, including stakeholder analysis, communication planning, adoption, and change-readiness assessments.
• Assess organizational health through employee feedback, interviews, surveys, performance data, and organizational metrics.
• Develop initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, retention, collaboration, and organizational culture.
• Help embed Fathom’s values into leadership practices, performance expectations, recognition, and daily ways of working.
• Establish organizational-development metrics and monitor the effectiveness of OD programs and interventions.
• Prepare policies, frameworks, playbooks, process documentation, and leadership materials related to organizational effectiveness.
• Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, People Operations, and business leaders to ensure alignment across the employee lifecycle.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 4-7 years of experience in organizational development, organizational effectiveness, talent management, change management, human resources, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supporting organizational design, competency frameworks, performance management, leadership development, or workforce planning.
• Experience working in a technology company, high-growth startup, scale-up, consulting firm, or similarly fast-moving organization.
• Strong understanding of organizational structures, operating models, role design, accountability, and decision governance.
• Experience designing and facilitating leadership, team-effectiveness, or organizational-development workshops.
• Ability to translate business strategy into practical organizational and people initiatives.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret organizational and people data.
• Strong stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with executives, managers, technical professionals, and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong project-management, facilitation, presentation, and documentation capabilities.
• Highly organized, proactive, discreet, and comfortable managing multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering, artificial intelligence, data, product, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise-software teams.
• Experience in organizational transformation, change management, or post-growth restructuring.
• Knowledge of the Saudi labor market and organizational practices within the GCC.
• Experience working with distributed teams across Saudi Arabia, Europe, or other international markets.
• Professional certification in organizational development, change management, human resources, coaching, or leadership development.
• Experience with employee-engagement surveys, people analytics, succession planning, or job-evaluation methodologies.
• Exposure to compensation structures, promotion frameworks, or organizational governance.
