Join Qiddiya Investment Company as a Senior Manager - Scheduling and play a crucial role in shaping the future of entertainment and leisure in Saudi Arabia.
The Hospitality Business Unit is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of numerous hotel assets with the Qiddiya City project. These assets cover all categories of hotel from Economy through to Ultra-Luxury, to be managed by local and international hospitality operators.
In this exciting position, you will be responsible for providing the scheduling function on various groundbreaking hospitality projects, ensuring that timelines are met, and resources are utilized efficiently. You will work closely with a talented team of professionals, collaborating to create innovative and immersive experiences for our guests, and ensuring the successful delivery of the assets within the Hospitality portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules that clearly define key milestones, deliverables, and resource allocations.
- Analyze project schedules to identify potential risks, delays, and critical paths while proposing solutions to ensure timely delivery
- Facilitate collaboration between the central Development Unit, Hospitality development managers, project managers and stakeholders, ensuring cohesive scheduling efforts across all project phases.
- Update schedules regularly based on project progress, changes in scope, and resource availability, providing real-time insights to senior management.
- Conduct regular schedule reviews, utilizing performance metrics to track progress and recovery strategies related to schedule adherence.
- Promote proactive communication within project teams, ensuring that all members are aligned with objectives and timelines.
- Implement best practices in scheduling and leverage advanced scheduling software to enhance planning and execution processes
- Excellent working knowledge in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- In-depth understanding of construction processes and project management principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in scheduling or project management roles, preferably in the hospitality sector, including construction stage.
- Preference to hold Membership of the Association of Planning Engineers, Certified Planning Engineer (or similar).
