Senior Internal Auditor

Position Overview:

Lead and perform risk-based internal audits focusing on IT systems, financial controls, and business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and deep understanding of IT audit frameworks, financial controls, and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities:

• Perform risk-based audits under the Internal Audit Department.
• Review IT systems, business applications, financial processes, and operational controls.
• Assess data integrity, system access, user privileges, and segregation of duties.
• Review sales, discounts, returns, inventory, procurement, loyalty programs, and related financial controls.
• Identify control gaps, operational risks, and potential financial exposure.
• Prepare audit reports and follow up on corrective action plans with management.
• Evaluate ERP, POS, CRM, E-Commerce platforms, mobile applications, and other business-critical systems.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• CISA certification is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in Internal Audit, IT Audit, Risk Management, or Internal Controls.
• Strong financial background and understanding of accounting controls.
• Experience in Retail Industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ITGC, Cybersecurity Controls, Data Governance, User Access Management, and Segregation of Duties.
