Senior Finance Manager

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee all finance operations across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Oman, ensuring full compliance with IFRS, Group policies, and local regulatory requirements. The role combines financial control, reporting, and business partnering across multiple jurisdictions with varying regulatory environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial / Operational Oversight
Ensure AR and AP processes adhere to company policies and controls
Maintain accurate customer reconciliations and revenue recognition
Manage regional expenditures and monthly recharges to Group
Conduct regular intercompany reconciliations
Manage payroll, commissions, and employee provisions with HR
Lead credit control and ensure timely collections
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations
Oversee billing, invoicing, credit notes and aged receivables
Align provisions with Group ECL policy and communicate updates to the Director of Finance.
2. Financial Reporting & Compliance
Lead the monthly closing process in line with IFRS and Group standards
Submit accurate and timely reports to Group Finance
Ensure accurate accounting treatment and posting of all transactions
Analyse P&L variances and provide actionable insights
Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions
Oversee Corporate Tax, VAT and applicable withholding tax compliance
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
Drive the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts
Maintain scenario planning models and support business decisions
4. Treasury & Cash Management
Oversee cash management, bank reconciliations, and liquidity planning
Manage banking relationships across multiple jurisdictions
Ensure strong treasury controls and working capital management
Support treasury reporting requirements for Group Finance and ensure alignment with global policies.
5. Audit, Controls & Risk Management
Coordinate with internal and external auditors
Strengthen internal controls and process improvements
Support enterprise risk management and mitigation
6. Business Partnering & Commercial Support
Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders and head of departments
Monitor KPIs and support performance improvements
Provide support on tendering, pricing, and project evaluations
7. Systems & Continuous Improvement
Drive reporting improvements through automation and dashboards
Support implementation and enhancement finance systems (e.g. D365, Hyperion)
8. Leadership
Lead, mentor and develop the finance team
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
Minimum 7+ years of experience with leadership responsibilities
Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA)
Experience across GCC markets (KSA, Bahrain, Oman preferred)
Experience in multi-entity corporates and finance environments
Experience in multi-national companies is preferred
Exposure to ERP systems (D365, Hyperion, SUN preferred)
Proficiency in managing finance systems and applications.
Demonstrated success in process improvement and automation.
Advanced analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.
Effective leadership and mentoring capabilities.
