Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Design Engineer (Water) to join our team. In this role, you will act as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to water and irrigation networks.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and plan primary and secondary pressurized networks.
• Act as the main point of contact within the design team for technical issues related to water/irrigation networks.
• Provide support for other engineering activities as required.
• Compute water demands and requirements.
• Develop efficient and cost-effective pressurized network designs that meet all requirements.
• Prepare site plans, design reports, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Review deliverables, including design reports, design submissions, and specifications.
  
  
  

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or a related field from an accredited University/Institute is required.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in the design of infrastructure mega projects, specifically irrigation network design.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience advising clients on the best systems, materials, products, and sustainability approaches for irrigation systems.
  
  
  

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Strong computer/software skills in WaterGEMS, LandF/x, Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Rain Cad (please confirm exact product spellings as used by the company).
