Role Overview:
DeepSource Technologies is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer specializing in Vulnerability Management (VM) based in Jeddah, KSA. This role is exclusively for Saudi Nationals and is critical to strengthening our cybersecurity defenses by identifying, assessing, and managing vulnerabilities across our IT infrastructure. You will collaborate with internal teams to design, implement, and maintain an effective vulnerability management program while ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead vulnerability scanning and assessment activities utilizing industry-leading tools.
- Review security configurations across DLP, XDR, PAM, CASP / EASP, WAF, Linux, and Email Relay platforms.
- Analyze vulnerability assessment results and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize remediation efforts.
- Develop and enforce vulnerability management policies and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments to determine the severity and potential impact of vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
- Prepare reports and present findings to technical and managerial teams.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- At least 7 years of professional experience in cybersecurity with a focus on vulnerability management.
- Demonstrated expertise with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, or similar platforms.
- In-depth understanding of vulnerability frameworks including OWASP Top 10 and CVSS scoring.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, or related credentials preferred.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is advantageous.
- Must be a Saudi National in compliance with role requirements.
