We are seeking a Senior Claims Specialist to join the Supervision Consultancy team on major utility and infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia.
The role focuses on claims review, assessment, and coordination from the supervision / consultant side, supporting the Client in managing contractor claims, extensions of time (EOT), and variations in compliance with contract conditions and Saudi project environments.
This is not a claims authority or adjudication role, but a senior supervision‑side claims and contracts support position with strong client interaction.

Responsibilities
Claims & Contract Administration
- Review and assess contractor claims, including:
- Extensions of Time (EOT)
- Variations and change orders
- Prolongation and disruption claims
- Ensure contractor submissions comply with:
- Contract conditions (FIDIC‑based)
- Project procedures and timelines
- Coordinate with planning, commercial, and technical teams to support entitlement assessments.
- Maintain and update:
- Claims and variations registers
- Correspondence logs
- Supporting documentation and evidence files
- Assist in preparing responses, technical comments, and recommendations to the Client.
- Support the supervision consultant in:
- Presenting claim status, risks, and summaries to the Client
- Preparing claim progress reports and dashboards
- Participate in meetings with contractors and Client representatives related to claims and contract matters.
- Apply knowledge of Saudi project practices and public‑sector environments.
- Ensure claims handling aligns with contractual obligations and audit expectations.
- Promote structured documentation and defensible record‑keeping.
- Mandatory Requirements
- Native Arabic speaker (or fluent professional Arabic).
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum 10+ years experience in claims, contracts, or commercial roles.
- Experience working with a Tier‑1 or Tier‑2 consultant / PMC in a supervision role.
- Hands‑on experience reviewing contractor:
- Claims
- EOTs
- Variations
- Strong exposure to infrastructure and utility projects (roads, utilities, water, power, etc.).
- Currently based in Saudi Arabia or immediately available to mobilize.
- Working knowledge of FIDIC contracts (Red / Yellow Book).
- Familiarity with Saudi government or semi‑government projects.
- Strong reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to interface confidently with senior client representatives.
- Professional certifications (CIArb, PMP, MRICS, or similar) are an advantage but not mandatory.
