Bavarian Capital

Date: 2 weeks ago
City: Riyadh
Contract type: Full time
Remote
Bavarian Capital is supporting a Riyadh-based investment firm as it expands its operations. We are adding a Scrum Master Intern to help organize internal workflows and ensure that our delivery teams maintain a high standard of clarity and focus.
About the role
In this role, you will assist in applying agile methodologies to our distributed teams in a fully remote setting. The position focuses on facilitating communication and helping the team avoid distractions during the daily work cycle. You will spend your time monitoring progress, documenting requirements, and learning how to keep projects moving steadily toward completion within the investment sector. This is an entry level position designed for those who appreciate structure and want to learn how to manage complexity without the noise of a traditional office.

What you will do
  • Organize and facilitate daily stand up meetings to keep the team informed on daily progress.
  • Assist in planning and executing sprint reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.
  • Help the team maintain a clear and organized backlog of tasks by updating documentation regularly.
  • Identify potential obstacles in the workflow and coordinate with team members to resolve them.
  • Prepare summary reports on team velocity and task completion rates for internal review.
  • Monitor project management software to ensure all tasks have clear descriptions and priority levels.
  • Support the coordination between different functional groups to ensure timelines are respected.
  • Draft internal process guides that help new team members understand our specific approach to remote work.

What we are looking for
  • A foundational understanding of agile principles and the basic functions of a Scrum Master.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to track multiple moving parts at once.
  • A clear and concise communication style, both in writing and during video sessions.
  • Basic familiarity with digital collaboration tools such as Jira, Trello, or Linear.
  • A methodical approach to work that ensures accuracy in documentation and reporting.
  • The ability to work independently in a remote setting while staying in close contact with the team.
  • A natural curiosity about how investment firms operate and a desire to learn new systems.
  • Patience and a steady temperament when handling shifting priorities or technical tasks.

What we offer
  • A fully remote position that allows for a professional work life balance from any location.
  • A competitive monthly stipend that reflects the value you bring to the firm.
  • Direct mentorship from experienced practitioners in project management and investment.
  • Hands on exposure to high stakes projects for a significant client in the Middle East.
  • An environment that values deep work and minimizes unnecessary distractions.
  • Professional development within a stable firm that prioritizes long term career growth.
  • Practical experience in facilitating agile rituals within a distributed, remote team.
