Eram Talent is seeking a skilled Scada Technician to join a prominent client in Saudi Arabia within the Oil & Gas industry. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems to ensure reliable and efficient operation of plant processes. The Scada Technician will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance and provide timely technical support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing hardware and software components of SCADA systems, performing system upgrades, and conducting preventive maintenance activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to critical infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain SCADA system hardware and software components.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SCADA communications, data acquisition, and control systems.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and availability.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT teams to implement system upgrades and improvements.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, including system configurations, maintenance activities, and incident reports.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and industry standards in all SCADA-related activities.
  • Provide technical support and training to operators and junior technicians as needed.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a SCADA Technician or in a similar role within the Oil & Gas or industrial sector.
  • Strong knowledge of SCADA systems, including hardware, software, and communication protocols.
  • Experience with DCS, PLCs, HMI, and related control systems.
  • Familiarity with network configurations, cybersecurity practices, and industrial communication standards.
  • Proficient troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in team environments.
  • Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia and adapt to local work conditions.
