Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems, alarms, and property access points.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or security breaches.
- Enforce safety regulations and company policies (e.g., fire safety, PPE compliance).
- Respond quickly to medical emergencies, accidents, or threats and write incident reports.
- Train staff on basic safety procedures and emergency evacuation plans.
- High school diploma or a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer, Security Guard, or similar role.
- Valid security license or safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Strong observational skills and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills.
