Job Description
The Roads & Civil Inspector will support the supervision team in monitoring and inspecting construction activities related to roads, drainage, and storm water infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.

The Roads & Civil Inspector will support the supervision team in monitoring and inspecting construction activities related to roads, drainage, and storm water infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, quality standards, and HSE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and monitor day-to-day construction activities related to roads, storm water networks, and associated civil works.
- Ensure contractor works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and contract requirements.
- Conduct site inspections for earthworks, subgrade, asphalt works, concrete works, pipelines, manholes, culverts, and drainage structures.
- Verify materials delivered to site and ensure compliance with approved material submittals.
- Review and witness testing activities including compaction tests, concrete testing, asphalt testing, and other QA/QC requirements.
- Raise inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and follow up on corrective actions.
- Monitor contractor’s progress and report any delays or quality issues to the Resident Engineer.
- Ensure adherence to HSE standards and project safety procedures at site.
- Coordinate with contractor representatives, surveyors, and laboratory teams during inspections.
- Maintain accurate site records, daily reports, and photographic documentation.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in construction supervision or inspection roles.
- Proven experience in roads, drainage, and storm water infrastructure projects.
- Previous experience working with engineering consultancy / supervision consultants is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and safety regulations.
- Familiarity with Saudi standards and municipal requirements is preferred.
