Job Description:
A Revenue Specialist is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and forecasting the organization's financial inflows to support financial sustainability. The role involves developing accurate financial models, managing the revenue cycle, and optimizing collection processes to ensure stable and sustainable revenue generation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze revenue line performance, collection levels, and key revenue-related performance indicators on a regular basis.
- Prepare and assess annual revenue targets, analyze historical data, and support revenue forecasting and achievement measurement.
- Develop periodic reports and dashboards, analyze variances, and provide recommendations to address challenges and improve performance.
- Review and reconcile financial and revenue data across systems and reports to ensure the accuracy of classifications and financial records.
- Review and audit revenue-related declarations, reports, and supporting data in accordance with approved regulations and procedures.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve issues affecting revenue collection and enhance process efficiency.
- Contribute to identifying opportunities for improving revenue products, services, and processes to support the growth and sustainability of government revenues.
Required Experience:
Preferred candidates should have at least two (2) years of experience in one or more of the following fields:
- Government Revenue Management.
- Revenue Analysis.
- Revenue Target Setting and Financial Forecasting.
- Municipal Revenue Collection and Management.
- Financial or Accounting Experience within Consulting Firms or Big Four (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG) Organizations.
It is preferred to have experience in one of the following government revenue items, such as:
- Accommodation Facility Occupancy Fees.
- Tobacco Product Fees.
- Financial Fees.
- Municipal Revenues.

- KPI Development & Monitoring.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Power BI.
- Dashboard Development.
- Financial Reporting.
- Variance Analysis.
- Government Financial Systems (Hyperion, Erad, Tahseel, Balady).
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines or an equivalent qualification:
- Finance.
- Financial Management.
- Accounting.
Professional Certifications (Preferred):
- FMVA (Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst) Certification.
- Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst Certification.
- Google Data Analytics Certification or a similar data analytics certification.
- Any professional certification in Financial Analysis, Performance Management, or Revenue Management.
