Public Transport Mapping/Navigation Specialist - Bus/Rail

Overview

Ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of mapping and navigation data across all passenger information systems, supporting seamless journey planning and real-time updates.

Your role

• Maintain and update route alignments, stops, and network data across all mapping platforms.
• Ensure accurate integration of mapping data with journey planning, mobile apps, and passenger information systems.
• Validate and correct spatial data discrepancies in coordination with planning and operations teams.
• Support real-time updates related to detours, service disruptions, and network changes.
• Coordinate with ITS teams to ensure alignment between mapping, AVM, and AFC systems.
• Assist in deployment of new routes, stops, and infrastructure within mapping systems.
• Ensure compliance with data standards and mapping accuracy requirements.
  
  

About You

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years' experience in mapping, GIS, or navigation systems (aligned to role seniority).
• Proficiency in GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) and mapping platforms (e.g., HERE, Google Maps).
• Experience in transport or mobility systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good coordination skills with technical and operational teams.
