As Regional Public Affairs within our Public Affairs team, you'll support Sanofi's business objectives across Saudi Arabia by executing public affairs initiatives, managing healthcare ecosystem partnerships, and coordinating stakeholder engagement activities that improve patient outcomes, support access ambitions, and strengthen Sanofi's reputation. Join our Corporate Functions team and play a vital part in the performance of our entire business while helping to make an impact on millions around the world. You'll serve as the operational execution arm of Public Affairs and act as the primary owner of non-government stakeholder engagement across all Sanofi Business Units.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain engagement plans with scientific societies, medical associations, patient advocacy groups, universities, research institutions, healthcare clusters, disease-specific organizations, and leading healthcare institutions across Saudi Arabia.
  • Lead execution of patient advocacy initiatives, disease-awareness programs, screening campaigns, prevention initiatives, and patient education programs that improve diagnosis, treatment pathways, and healthcare outcomes.
  • Act as the Public Affairs focal point for priority healthcare accounts including major hospitals, centers of excellence, research organizations, scientific networks, and national healthcare programs.
  • Support Specialty Care, Vaccines, and General Medicines priorities through stakeholder engagement strategies, KOL engagement initiatives, external partnership programs, advocacy activities, and disease area campaigns.
  • Lead planning and execution of roundtables, advisory boards, healthcare forums, scientific meetings, stakeholder workshops, and patient engagement events across Saudi Arabia.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholder activities with Medical, Market Access, and Commercial teams to ensure aligned and impactful engagement.
  • Maintain stakeholder engagement dashboards, project trackers, partnership pipeline reports, event calendars, and KPI monitoring to ensure timely execution of Public Affairs plans.
  • Build long-term partnerships supporting Sanofi priorities and maintain comprehensive stakeholder mapping for priority disease areas.

About you

  • 5–8 years of experience in Public Affairs, Healthcare Partnerships, Market Access, Key Account Management, Healthcare Consulting, or External Affairs.
  • Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare ecosystem, including familiarity with key institutions, scientific societies, and patient advocacy networks.
  • Experience working with patient associations, scientific societies, or healthcare institutions in a partnership or engagement capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex stakeholder engagement projects and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required for effective stakeholder engagement across diverse communities.
  • Experienced level competencies in Patient Advocacy, Healthcare Policies, Launch Strategy, Foster Innovation, and Strategic Insights.
  • Strong Partnership Development, Crisis Management, and Public Awareness Campaign capabilities.
  • Excellent Business Acumen, Communication skills, and Stakeholder Relationship Management abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Public Policy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
