We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer to join our supervision team for a major ICT project in Riyadh.
Responsibilities
Site Logistics
The successful candidate will play a key role in monitoring and managing all aspects of site logistics to ensure the success of the project. This will include:
- Manage the interface between all Contractors on-site, including construction programmes, access, deliveries, waste, and security.
- Monitor the Contractor’s site storage procedures for materials to ensure the protection of equipment and materials and work performed at the site.
- Establish a Project and Site Security plan and recommend to the Client procurement options for services and installations.
- Attend and participate in weekly site logistics meeting to address and resolve all related issues.
- Coordinate construction logistics, including material deliveries, equipment scheduling, and workforce allocation to maintain project timelines.
- Help ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented and maintained throughout the project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing authority approvals to ensure the success of the project. This will include:
- Overseeing a statutory authority requirements report prepared by the Contractor and create and update a tracker which identifies all submissions / approval requirements for statutory authorities, including planning, permits, electricity, water, drainage, telecom, environmental, real estate authority etc.
- Proactively liaise the Client, Contractor and where, required, Authorities for approvals, Permits, NOCs, inspections, etc. to ensure the progress of works is not affected.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Relevant professional certifications are an advantage.
- Minimum 8–10 years of overall relevant experience.
- At least 5 years in site management, logistics and/or permitting roles within the KSA construction industry.
