Production Manager

Middle East Mattress Factory Co. (the licensee of Sealy Inc. USA) is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Production Manager to oversee its end-to-end mattress manufacturing operations. Located at our modern production plant in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, this critical leadership role will ensure the production of premium bedding products meets the highest standard of operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.

Job Purpose

The Production Manager will direct, coordinate, and optimize the factory's full mattress manufacturing workflows—including quilting, pocket spring core assembly, tape-edging, and final packaging. This role requires an engineering mindset to minimize raw material waste, scale continuous improvement initiatives, and lead a diverse, multicultural production team.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Planning & Execution: Formulate, coordinate, and execute production schedules to deliver high-quality manufacturing services on time.
• Process Optimization: Identify bottlenecks on the production floor and implement lean manufacturing techniques to reduce material waste and cycle times.
• Machinery & Resource Management: Oversee the proper utilization and upkeep of automated sewing, tape-edge lines, and pocket spring machinery.
• Team Leadership: Manage, train, and foster a culture of safety and high productivity among floor supervisors and manufacturing crews.
• ERP & Data Analysis: Utilize ERP infrastructure (specifically Odoo ERP software modules) to manage inventory, track manufacturing data, and report on plant performance metrics.
• Quality Assurance: Guarantee that all manufactured items comply with company and international premium bedding standards.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Production Engineering preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in plant operations or industrial manufacturing, with dedicated experience in mattress manufacturing, foam, or bedding production lines.
• Nationality: Saudi National (in alignment with nationalization requirements).
• Location: Must currently reside in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (ability to work on-site).
• Technical Skills: Hands-on proficiency with Odoo ERP software (manufacturing and inventory modules) and deep familiarity with automated mattress factory machinery.
• Language Skills: Professional fluency in written and spoken English is strictly required, alongside native or fluent Arabic proficiency.
