Key Responsibilities: 

•           Technical support to the sales department, customers, and authorities for products under responsibility.

•           Participate in customer visits, product presentations, exhibitions, and site visits.

•           Promote high quality specifications within consulting companies and end-clients.

•           Ensure that all required end client's approvals are obtained and maintained in coordination with the Quality and Sales Departments.

•           Ensure Salesforce is updated on new products and equipped with the necessary technical tools and unique selling points to secure the business.

•           Ensure the training of employees, customers and authorities on products is done within agreed time and training objectives.

•           Support sales team in making product selection and compliance statements.

•           Support Head of Product Management to have market analysis and develop strong business cases to boost the business growth.

•           Support Head of Product Management in new product development (NPD) and product life cycle (PLC) (Product management).

•           Be able to read and understand specifications and designs.

•           Collect market data and monitor competitor activities.

•           Ensure correct item numbers in the system by coordination with customer service manager, production, and logistic departments.

•           Ensure the latest design drawings are updated and distributed between the concerned departments.

•           Ensure work instruction and assembly in place for each product in coordination with production and quality.

•           Handling technical and design related nonconformities in cooperation with the Quality Department.

•           Create the (Drafting) for production and GA Drawings for customers.

•           Be able to do basic maintenance and troubleshooting for system and network components such as valves, actuators, PLC, etc.

Scope of job responsibility: Technical expert or support within function, working under supervision from Line Manager.

Freedom to act and take decisions: Follows established policies and processes. May propose recommendations to processes within remit.

Contribution in projects: Team member on departmental projects.

Impact of decisions: Consequences of decisions and actions impact department.

Impact & Influence on business result: Position has very limited influence on the target achievement.

Failure in achieving position's targets would only have little effect on overall target achievement.

Specialized Knowledge / Skills


•           Mechanical or industrial engineering or similar technical educational background.

•           Have a basic knowledge about different types of mechanical valves and actuators.

•           Good in planning and managing priorities

•           Ability to manage tasks and be a strong team player.

•           Good support and presentations skills.

•           Good computer skills.

•           Good English speaking and writing.

•           Have analytical and strategic thinking skills.

•           Dedication, self-discipline and organizing ability.

•           Persuasion skills/negotiating skills.
