Procurement Specialist

Description

Tuwaiq Casting & Forging is seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Procurement Specialist to join the Supply Chain Department. Reporting to the Procurement Manager, this role is responsible for applying Supply Chain Management and Procurement principles to procure goods and services, and for handling the development and administration of procurement actions in support of business and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities to support business and project requirements
• Develop and implement sourcing strategies based on market and demand analysis
• Negotiate and manage purchase orders, contracts, and commercial terms
• Identify, evaluate, and manage supplier performance and relationships
• Monitor order execution to ensure timely delivery and compliance with requirements
• Manage supplier risks and implement mitigation plans
• Optimise procurement costs while maintaining quality and service levels
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and governance standards
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support operational efficiency
• Lead or support procurement activities for assigned projects
• Perform any job-related activities as requested by management.
  
  

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
  
  

Experience

• Minimum 6 years of relevant procurement or supply chain experience.
  
  

Technical Competencies

• Excellent command of written and spoken English.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
