Job Description

A leading Saudi restaurant chain is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead its procurement operations, ensuring the cost-effective, timely, and consistent supply of high-quality food ingredients, fresh meat, packaging materials, equipment, and operational supplies across its restaurant network.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) sector, particularly in multi-branch restaurant operations, with proven expertise in strategic sourcing, centralized purchasing, supplier negotiations, cost optimization, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's operational objectives, growth plans, and expansion initiatives.
• Manage centralized procurement of fresh meat, poultry, food ingredients, dry goods, packaging materials, kitchen equipment, and restaurant supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage local and international suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, consistent quality, and reliable supply.
• Establish long-term supplier partnerships, framework agreements, and volume-based purchasing contracts.
• Drive procurement cost reductions through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, competitive negotiations, and market intelligence.
• Ensure uninterrupted availability of essential food ingredients and operational supplies across all restaurant branches.
• Oversee procurement planning and demand forecasting in coordination with restaurant operations, warehousing, and logistics teams.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, product specifications, and compliance with contractual obligations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, Quality Assurance, and Supply Chain teams to optimize purchasing efficiency and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, cold chain requirements, Saudi Food and Drug Authority (SFDA) regulations, and internal quality policies.
• Develop alternative sourcing strategies to mitigate supply disruptions, commodity price fluctuations, and supplier-related risks.
• Manage procurement budgets, purchasing controls, supplier contracts, and procurement-related financial reporting.
• Establish and monitor procurement KPIs, including cost savings, supplier performance, purchasing efficiency, product availability, and inventory optimization.
• Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team, ensuring accountability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
