At Jacobs, we push the limits of what’s possible to make the world smarter and more connected. We are playing a key role on a groundbreaking entertainment and tourism megaproject located around 40 kilometers from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As part of the Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, the development aims to diversify the economy and provide world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural experiences. The project spans 334 square kilometers and includes major theme parks, large-scale water attractions, and state-of-the-art sporting facilities.
Role Overview
The Procurement Lead (Director) leads procurement strategy, supplier management, contract negotiation, and sourcing activities across large-scale programs. The role ensures compliance, commercial governance, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of goods and services to meet project demands.
Role Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end procurement activities across major project packages.
Develop procurement strategies, plans, and sourcing methodologies.
Oversee prequalification, tendering, evaluation, and recommendation processes.
Negotiate commercial terms and contract conditions to secure best-value outcomes.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, governance frameworks, and legal requirements.
Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
Coordinate with engineering, commercial, and project teams to define procurement requirements.
Identify procurement risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Review and validate procurement reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
Lead and mentor procurement teams to support high-quality and timely delivery.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
20+ years experience in procurement across major capital or infrastructure projects
Strong experience in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
Proficiency in procurement systems and ERP platforms.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
