Job Brief

We are looking for an innovative Procurement Engineer in Jeddah for a high towers project in Makkah, with Bachelor’s degree in Engineering ( Civil or Architecture or Mechanical or Electrical). the procurement Engineer will be responsible for the purchasing process for all materials of the project (Civil, Electrical and Mechanical) from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. furthermore, be responsible for assisting with the procurement process, including contract management, contract negotiation and preparation of purchase orders.

Main duties include locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the company’s specifications.

Main Responsibilities:

• Preparation of RFPs and dispatch to contractors or consultant offices which includes instructions, general contract conditions, special conditions, review tables of quantities, and any other documents.
• Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiating with suppliers and vendors to secure advantageous terms.
• Reviewing existing contracts with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-going feasibility.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers.
• Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Overseeing and managing the IT systems that track shipments, inventory, and the supply of goods.
• Review quality of purchased products.
• Preparing procurement reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil or architecture or electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Min. 5 years of experience in Procurement field.
• Proven experience managing a high-rise building materials supply.
• Experience using supply chain management software and tools, including Oracle, NetSuite.
• In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms.
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards.
