Job Description

Job Purpose

The Price Controller Admin is responsible for supporting the Pricing & Analytic function by ensuring the accurate maintenance, validation, and execution of pricing data across systems. The role ensures timely price updates, compliance with approved pricing guidelines, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to maintain pricing integrity, operational continuity, and reliable reporting that supports informed pricing decisions and smooth execution across all channels.

Key Accountabilities

• Maintain pricing master data across approved systems to ensure accuracy, consistency, and readiness for execution.
• Validate price change requests against approved pricing guidelines to ensure compliance before system upload.
• Upload and update price files within defined timelines to support timely price activation across channels.
• Monitor system price discrepancies by comparing reports and source files to ensure data integrity and error resolution.
• Coordinate price activation confirmations with relevant stakeholders to ensure correct implementation in stores and digital platforms.
• Prepare pricing control reports highlighting changes, exceptions, and status updates to support pricing governance.
• Support periodic price audits by compiling documentation and evidence to ensure transparency and control adherence.
• Respond to pricing-related inquiries by providing accurate data and clarifications to enable smooth operational follow-up.
  
  

Skills Description

Education :

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.

Experince :

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in pricing administration, data management, commercial operations, finance, or a similar role
• Good understanding of retail pricing mechanics — regular, promotional, loyalty, and seasonal
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, lookups, and data validation.
• Good understanding of data accuracy and master data management.
• Ability to work with pricing systems and handle system uploads and updates.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
