Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Plumbing Inspector to join our construction supervision team on the project in Qiddiya, KSA.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Attend meetings and workshops with the contractor, designer, and client to help plan the works, monitor progress, and resolve design and construction issues.
  • Carry out day‑to‑day inspections and tests on site to confirm that plumbing and related mechanical works comply with the contract specifications and approved drawings.
  • Monitor site activities for safety, quality, and progress, addressing issues directly where possible and escalating them when needed.
  • Review method statements, material submittals, drawings, design documents, and RFIs, provide clear comments, and follow up to ensure timely close‑out.
  • Review contractor reports for accuracy, provide feedback as required, and prepare inspection and progress reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support planning and progress tracking and recommend practical improvements or corrective actions where required.
  • Use relevant software tools (Office, CAD, BIM) and encourage the use of new technologies and innovative methods to improve delivery.
  • Coordinate with other disciplines such as civil, structural, and MEP to manage interfaces and ensure integrated construction delivery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of site safety practices and assist in preparing safety‑related reports.
  • Inspect the work of construction labour and subcontractors to ensure professional workmanship and compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Be willing to work weekends or night shifts, if required by project needs.
  • Perform any other related duties consistent with the role as may be assigned.


What We’re Looking For

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience working with and coordinating multiple disciplines (civil, structural, MEP) on complex projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently on a busy construction site.
  • Solid background in plumbing and mechanical works, with the ability to read and understand drawings, specifications, and inspection procedures.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC.
