Planning & Performance Associate

About the Role

The Planning & Performance Associate supports the organization's planning and performance management activities by monitoring corporate and departmental KPIs, coordinating performance reporting, conducting analysis, and supporting management and board reporting processes. The role works closely with business units and management to drive accountability, enhance performance measurement, and support the achievement of strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and governance of the planning and performance management framework.
• Monitor, track, and report on corporate and departmental KPIs and performance initiatives.
• Analyze performance data and prepare reports, dashboards, and insights for management.
• Support the preparation of quarterly, mid-year, and annual performance reviews.
• Develop and maintain corporate and departmental scorecards.
• Review KPI results and supporting evidence to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with established objectives.
• Support reporting and presentations for executive management, committees, and the Board.
• Facilitate performance-related meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen organizational performance and accountability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Masters' Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of performance management, KPI development, and reporting methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret performance data and provide actionable insights.
• Experience preparing reports, presentations, and management dashboards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail, organization, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant experience in planning, performance management, financial analysis, management reporting, or related functions.
• Experience within the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CMA, or CPA are considered an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience supporting management reporting, KPI frameworks, scorecards, and organizational performance initiatives.
