Data Manufacturing Engineer – Notebooks Desktops (PCG)

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (Special Integrated Logistics Zone)

Department: Engineering

Experience: 2+ years preferred

Employment type: Full-time

About The Role

Every notebook and desktop that leaves our line depends on accurate data. That includes the bill of materials, the routing, the label on the box, and the trace back to each part. As a Data Manufacturing Engineer in Lenovo’s PC Group (PCG) in Riyadh, you’ll own that data.

You’ll prepare, validate and improve the manufacturing engineering data behind our PC production at every stage: new product introduction (NPI), line qualification, pilot runs, ramp-up and mass production. When something doesn’t match, you’ll be the one who finds it and fixes it fast, so production keeps running smoothly and every unit is fully traceable.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and maintain product master data, bills of materials (BOMs) and process routings
  • Implement engineering changes (EC/ECN/PCN) with full validation, revision control and change tracking
  • Set up label configurations and support barcode and label printing on the line
  • Validate data across MES, SAP/S4, TDC and other manufacturing systems
  • Find and resolve data discrepancies on your own, including urgent issues during ramp-up
  • Make sure production data flows correctly for end-to-end traceability
  • Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, IT, Supply Chain and global Lenovo teams

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Software, Industrial or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years in manufacturing data engineering, production systems, ERP/MES support or engineering data management (preferred)
  • A solid understanding of manufacturing processes, BOM structures, master data, routings and engineering change management
  • Experience with MES, SAP/S4, TDC or similar ERP/MES systems (preferred)
  • Knowledge of product labeling, barcode systems and traceability
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to give hands-on support on the production floor

What We Offer

  • An international team with a high focus on Gender Diversity.
  • Employee Assistance Program, e.g., for psychological, legal financial consultancy
  • You are joining a company that prioritizes sustainable solutions like CO2 Offset, Asset Recovery Services, and the Lenovo Certified Refurbished portfolio.
  • Access to training for personal development - Internal E-learning Development Platform Available for Employees
  • Mentorship program

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.
